ONE ANOTHER

 I made around two dozen paintings with these horizontal and vertical bands. I think they work as single paintings but I like them more when seen as groupings because of the interactions between the pieces. I built them out of families of color so there is always some connecting relationship. I also made some without thinking about or looking at the others and sometimes found interesting and surprising relationships in that way.
